Where Cannabis & Community Thrive

Community-Driven Cannabis in Massachusetts

Botera’s promise encompasses not only quality and excellence in our products and services, but extends to supporting the decriminalization of cannabis to further facilitate the success of the cannabis industry as a whole.  As an active supporter of legal cannabis use and the many holistic benefits cannabis can provide, we recognize the importance of our support and participation in the cannabis movement.  Botera strives to encourage meaningful changes within the cannabis community through cannabis education, resources and outreach within the community.

Botera’s Community Partners

Botera strives to be a vibrant and positive presence in the local communities surrounding our dispensaries through partnerships, sponsorships, donations, local event participation, charitable donations and local clean up and restoration efforts.

Old Colony YMCA

Old Colony YMCA is a charitable, non-profit Association committed to the development of strong spirit, mind, and body, guided by Judeo-Christian principles, to enrich the quality of life for everyone in our communities.

Old Colony YMCA has been listening and responding to our communities’ most critical social needs since 1887. We continue to condemn systemic racism, bias and discrimination of all kinds. When confronted with instances of injustice, we will address the root cause and commit to meaningful change. By building a culture of diversity, equality, and inclusion, we aim to ensure that our employees, our youth, our families, and our communities achieve equitable outcomes and live fulfilling, healthy lives. We know that when we work as one, we move people and communities forward.

Safe Coalition

SAFE is a judgement free community organization relentlessly committed to educating and supporting those affected by substance use disorder and mental health concerns across southeastern Massachusetts.

Last Prisoner Project

The Last Prisoner Project was founded in 2019 out of the belief that no one should remain incarcerated for cannabis offenses.

We brought together a group of justice-impacted individuals, policy and education experts, and leaders in the worlds of criminal justice and drug policy reform to work to end the fundamental injustice that is America’s policy of cannabis prohibition.

Our dedicated team works tirelessly to achieve our goal of freeing the tens of thousands of individuals still unjustly imprisoned for cannabis.

Botera Cares: A Community-First Recreational Cannabis Dispensary in Massachusetts

At Botera, we’re more than just a Massachusetts recreational cannabis dispensary—we’re proud advocates for our neighbors and local communities. Our mission is to ensure that everyone benefits from the growth and success of the cannabis industry.

As part of our ongoing commitment to social responsibility, Botera “adopts” a local charity each quarter. Through our in-store community raffle, customers can donate anything from $1 and up for a chance to win exciting prizes like event tickets, cannabis accessories, and exclusive memorabilia. Botera proudly matches every dollar raised, doubling the impact of your generosity.

We also host informational tables to spotlight each organization’s mission and encourage deeper community involvement. If you represent a local cause and would like to collaborate, please reach out to Chyanne at customer@boterama.com to explore partnership opportunities.

Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected Massachusetts—one donation at a time.
